The Storm Futsal Goalkeeper Academy is a specialised training program designed exclusively for futsal goalkeepers, with a strong focus on modern futsal-specific techniques, decision-making, and game understanding.
Commencing Friday 20th
This program runs Friday nights at Woodridge High School and is delivered by Lochie Winter, a Football Queensland State Goalkeeper with extensive experience in elite goalkeeper development.
Sessions are tailored to the unique demands of futsal, including:
Footwork, movement, and positioning in tight spaces
1v1 situations and shot-stopping at close range
Distribution and playing as an extra outfield player
Decision-making under pressure
Confidence, communication, and game awareness
This is the only futsal-specific goalkeeper academy currently operating in Queensland, making it a unique opportunity for young goalkeepers who want to develop correctly for the futsal game rather than adapting outdoor techniques.
Session times:
U8–U10: 4:30pm – 5:30pm
U11–U13: 5:30pm – 6:30pm
The academy is suitable for goalkeepers of all abilities, from those new to the position through to players aiming for elite pathways. Sessions are structured, engaging, and age-appropriate, with a strong emphasis on long-term development.
Limited spots available to ensure high-quality coaching and individual attention. These are small group classes.
